Class Policies

Registration Deadlines: Class registrations close 24 hours prior to the beginning of a class. Private, one-on-one sewing lesson registration can be scheduled day-of, however it is advised that you ensure your teacher is available, if booking last minute. 

Class Minimums: Group courses have a 2 student minimum. If less than 2 students have registered for a class 24 hours prior to the start of a class, students may be notified and the class may be canceled. If a class has not met its minimum to proceed, the students registered will be offered an alternative date for the class, or credits towards another class. If a reasonable replacement cannot be found, the student will be fully refunded for the canceled class.

If we receive no interest and have no students enrolled in any posted class 48 hours prior to its start, the class may be removed from the website and cancelled. 

All available classes and times will be live on the website. If a class appears no longer visible, the class may be canceled or may be sold out.

Cancellations & Refunds: All class registrations are non-refundable. For cancellations greater than 24 hours in advance of a class, the student is eligible for a reschedule for a different class session of their choosing. No shows, less than 24 hours notice, or contacting after a class has started cannot be rescheduled.  Should you have any questions, please feel free to email us at Contact@SpoolStudioTampa.com  

Phone calls regarding rescheduling are not accepted, and must be emailed to ensure your needs are met appropriately.

We understand life happens. If there is an unavoidable emergency, email us with documentation and exceptions can be made. If a refund is offered for exceptions, refunds will have the credit card fees deducted from the refund as credit card companies no longer refund these fees to us. These are estimated to be 30 cents + 3%. 

Attendance: The student registered for the class is the only individual permitted to remain when the class begins. Parent's may not stay during the class unless they are an active volunteer. Parents must arrive within 15 minutes of the end of class to collect their minor student.

No refunds can be given, should a student need to leave a class prior to its completion.

Behavior: Disruptive behaviors, bullying, and verbal or physical violence will not be tolerated. If a student disrupts or bullies another/other student during a class, the student will be removed from the class and will be banned from returning to our facility. Disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.

Cellular Phone Use: Cell phone use during classes is not permitted. Phones should be silenced and stored away during educational sessions. Should there be an emergent need to take or place a phone call, please excuse yourself from the class room and move to a private location to conduct your business.
