About Us

At Spool Studio, we believe in the magical power of fashion to make a statement and express oneself. Our journey began in 2015 when our founder, Erik Theiss, started a small online fabric shop and started designing custom pieces for friends and family. Since then, we've expanded to a brick-and-mortar design studio and boutique, offering sewing lessons, design services, and our own in-house fashion brand featuring, unique mid-century inspired fashions, with a focus on keeping  garment design and production done right here!

Our design philosophy is centered on creating timeless and versatile pieces that can be worn for years to come. We also believe that vintage style fashion should be functional and adaptable to suit everyone's different and unique style.

Finally, we feel that fashion design should be accessible to all, and believe in sharing the knowledge of sewing and design to with everyone!
